The foundation will pursue the following objectives:

1. Study and expansion of the international experience in the financial cooperatives sphere.
2. Scientific research implementation for using the advantages of the credit cooperatives.
3. Development of legislative initiatives offers in the scope of possible crediting through the financial cooperatives.
4. Credit cooperatives specialists training.
5. Building up of an effective structure and a Bulgarian financial cooperatives model.
6. Making contacts with public organizations and local administration.

The foundation will use the following means for achieving the objectives:

1. Raising charity assets from donation by citizens, commercial companies, municipal and state establishments and enterprises, other national and foreign foundations, international programmes, financial instruments investment from which interests, rents, etc. are received.
2. Magazine publishing with an educative purpose.
3. Organizing public events, conferences and symposiums with international participation and with an informative and/ or scientifically applied purpose.
4. Building and keeping a unit to perform specialists training for the credit cooperatives.
5. Creation of an Academic council in the foundation with the participation of eminent researchers and specialists from Bulgaria and abroad.
6. Issuing a series of books on the credit cooperatives matters.
7. Creation of a cooperative library.

The foundation will develop the following business activities, related to its objective:

1. Publishing activity
2. Education and qualification
3. Consultancy
4. Elaboration and realization of development projects

The foundation is set up for an indefinite period of time.
